Lebara SIM but no 4G Calling or WiFi Calling on Galaxy S23+

Anyone with Lebara and using a Samsung Galaxy S23+ phone?  Brand new phone (with software updated to Android 14) and although it shows WiFi Calling option is switched on, there is no WiFi Calling icon on the top right of screen.  Also I'm unable to find a 4G Calling option. Lebara offer both facilities and they say the phone *is* compatible, but a call to them could not find the solution.  Anyone any ideas?

There often isn’t a 4G calling menu setting anymore, it’s on automatically and not user configurable.

With regard to WiFi Calling, the network effectively controls the threshold, try turning on airplane mode and then turning WiFi back on and see if it activates.

Yes, the WiFi Calling icon appears if I activate Flight Mode but icon disappears when Flight Mode is deactivated. Excuse my lack of knowledge about these matters, but is that how it is supposed to work?

This is proof wi fi calling is working.
The wifi calling symbol will appear when the mobile network is down to one bar.
This is what happens on my s 20 plus on 3 network

    Excellent, many thanks!

Still a bit of a mystery about the lack of an on/off 4G Calling facility.  Both Lebara and Samsung Support seemed to think that one should exist.

More and more networks are deactivating that choice. Mainly because with 3G turned off they need more devices making calls on 4G rather than the user switching it off and then dropping to a small allocation of 2G if they can help it.

If 4G Calling devices are being forced to 2G for calling it will likely cause congestion for those customers who are still using non 4G Calling devices.
