Can you close a Chase and reopen one in future or is it best to leave £1 in it0

I would leave £1 in just to save the hassle of having to re-apply again, as I think that involved taking selfies which is often problematic for some people.Johnny-Cage said:Can you close a Chase and reopen one in future or is it best to leave £1 in it
Just bear in mind this clause about inactive accounts....What happens if you just stop using your account? If you haven't used the app or any accounts for 14 months, we may restrict payments into or out of them and suspend access to the app to protect you and us against fraud. We'll try to let you know before we do this. You can get access back by contacting us.If there's no activity on one of your accounts for 14 months, then we may close it or transfer the funds to another active account you hold with us.0 -

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the discussion.
Following the base rate cut last week, Chase's linked savings rates have dropped again, so we've just published the following as a heads-up:
Chase cuts rates on linked savers again – should you ditch and switch?
Thanks,

Should be https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2024/11/chase-cuts-savings-rates-again/, although 'tracker product tracks rate change' doesn't really seem like news as such....exel1966 said:

I agree. The rate prior to the reduction in the BoE interest rate could be beaten then too, so where is the "news"?eskbanker said:
