I'm keeping it anyway, as I find the debit card very handy for using abroad.1 -
Thanks, I will probably keep it open. I’m out of bank switches for the time being as I’ve been with pretty much most of them but it’s handy for switching like you said and also I just remembered about not being allowed back as well.0

I'll keep the account until the 1% boost run's out and see where the market is at that point.I like the App so far, got a few pots for the smaller savings goals I have while my Emergency fund is in the boosted account.0

According to my Chase app the 1% boost was extended until 16 January 2025 but I have now discovered it expires on 6 November!!!!!!!!
I made a complaint to Chase. Apparently there are two versions boost saver 1 and Boost saver 2. It is VERY misleading and NOT clear on their emails and support pages. Basically they fobbed me off and closed my complaint. Don’t assume yours will be extended until January.0 -

They didn't automatically extend accounts from Nov to Jan if you only had Boost 1, and there was never any correspondence that suggested they would do that. But there was nothing stopping anyone closing Boost 1 to open Boost 2 which many on here have done. @P@Peter_Kendrick, I wonder if you misunderstood about the extension.0 -
Weirdly the app is still showing my boosted account as 4.75% AER on the main page. This is despite them having sent email Oct 22nd warning the 1% boost would end Nov 4th (a week ago now). However if I go to the transactions page for that account it says the expected 3.75% at the top, but then Im not certain it has not always said that there.0

The normal Saver rate will decrease to 3.50% and the boosted rate to 4.50% this Thursday (14th Nov), following last week's base rate reduction.2
