No you haven't complained yet then (as we advised you had to do first).  You cannot complain to the BPA yet.

I'm sure we already told you to complain, and what to say to Azure?  As I said already:
"You need to put in an online complaint to Azure. Then when they fob you off, complain about Azure to the BPA (you have to complain to the operator first though)."

I thought you meant the initial complaint.

I did write a complaint to Azure 4 days ago to to request a Popla code and complained to them about them not sending a refusal letter with a POPLA code since my initial complaint.
I also mentioned that the BPA regulation guidelines required them to send a code within 30 days and should a code now not be sent, I would be contacting BPA to form an official complaint.

    I received no reply.

Not surprised. It was only 4 days ago!

You know from the useless BPA & IPC joint Code of Practice what the complaint rules and deadlines are and it's not 4 days!

     :)

Understood. It was just because they bypassed the Popla code and sent the £170 scam letters. Will wait to see see what happens.

@Coupon-mad Just been sent this. They are basically saying that if we've dont provide driver details, they will not provide a POPLA code. I have never heard if such a thing. Sorry for all the questions. I must be driving you mad.

    Wow.

They are blatantly refusing POPLA Codes for registered keeper appellants.  That's the sort of rogue practice normally only seen from IPC firms. The BPA is being dragged down now they've got into bed with the IPC and cooked up their appalling 'joint code'.

Report them to the BPA immediately.

I'm showing that to the MHCLG. Did she actually sign off her reply half way through? Such a mess.

Yes, looks like she signed it off twice.

Reply back to them and tell them you have reported them to the BPA.
Tell them there is no requirement for them to receive driver details in order to obtain a popla code
    Forward the email to AOS@britshparking.co.uk
    Disgraceful.
  • I think 1505grandad is correct, that part does end with inverted commas. Why not consider waiting the seven days and see if Azure Parking follow through with their threat? They've reached rock bottom, let them keep digging?
