It's been well over a month and they still haven't replied to my appeal apart from asking me to confirm the driver via a separate email which I ignored, so I am still awaiting the Popla code from them. How long do they have to reply by?

Starting the Fight (Appeal) again, this time going "by the book"

is the day inclusive on the clock.
    Example:
    Contravention Date:                                18 Sep
Date on the "Parking Charge" letter        1 Oct
Date of serve (Calculates +2):                   3 Oct
    Making it:                                                 14 / 15 / 16 days y
    Questions:
    1. How to calculate?
    2. What is the practical use or workflow if it is over 14 days?
Wednesday 18th September to Tuesday 1st October plus 2 working days equals Thursday 3rd October. By my count, that is 15 days. So, outside the PoFA window.

They have increased the penalty to £170 even though I haven't been sent a Popla code. However is that possible?

Why are you calling it a penalty.

    It is not allowed.

You need to put in an online complaint to Azure. Then when they fob you off, complain about Azure to the BPA (you have to complain to the operator first though).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi @Coupon-mad , I have requested a code with Azure Parking but have not received any reply and have now received there £170 demand letters. I am looking to complain to the BPA but it says to provide which clause has been breached by Azure Parking. I looked but couldn't find any clause about the the 30 day rule to be provided with a POPLA code. Any idea what clause it is?

Assuming Azure Parking continue to ignore my request to provide a Popla code, what are the BPA actually able to do and would I then have to take it to the the courts without being able to actually appeal with Popla?

Would be a shame as I have the Golden Ticket argument which is a guarantee win at Popla.

@Coupon-mad -  Yes, sorry, it is Azure, I corrected it. Think I got muddled up because I walked by a Spring Parking sign recently so had it in my head.

The deadlines for handling complaints or appeals are in the BPA CoP.

If you've complained to Azure (have you?  Actually raised a complaint?) and they have failed to reply after a month, you know who to complain to now because we already advised.

    @Coupon-mad

Yes, I sent the blue template on the Newbies board which I assume is considered a valid complaint?

I was in the process of complaining to BPA and then to DVLA, but the question in the BPA mentions to list the exact clause that was breached and after looking at the Popla section on the BPA, I can't see any clause that mentions 30 days for the operator to send the Popla code.
