BA flight delay compensation

Hi, I’m after some advice. Our flight home from Italy on Sunday was delayed overnight, by 17 hours. BA did not provide us with a hotel or transfers, we arranged these by ourselves. My question is, can I claim back these hotel and transport costs in addition to the standard compensation amount of £220/€250 per person, or is that compensation intended to cover such costs? There were 4 of us travelling. The hotel cost around €380 and the taxi was €35. When I’ve looked at standard template letters for flight delay compensation, they generally just reference the standard £220 amount, rather than incidentals incurred. Can I also claim for the extra day of car parking at LHR, £36? I also had to extend the stay for our pet rabbits at the boarding place, can I claim for this as well, £24?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

You can claim the reasonable expenses for accommodation and meals during the delay. This would be in addition to the compensation (depending on the reason for the delay they may not be obliged to pay compensation)
They aren't required to pay incidentals like car parking and animal boarding.0 -

In principle, they are responsible for the reasonable costs between when you were supposed to depart and when you did land, regardless of fault.
Plus the compensation if it was the airline's fault.
The other incidentals would effectively be covered by the fixed compo.0
