The amount the law/government states you need to live on yes? My wife gets full state pension£221.20 every 4weeks& l receive £314.35 esa income related every 2 weeks. So what should my/our Applicable amount be? Before my wife reached state pension age we had received full Hounsing Benefit & she had been on esa claim as a couple for years . I am also in the support group of esa . My wife was also my cater. This ended when she reached SPage! Any information/clarity would be much Appreciated. Thanks All

(and to compare against the applicable amounts listed by your LA).

Thank you Alice👍. Too be honest not sure of these figures, but will have a stab. Couple rate £142.25 yes. Carer premium £45.60 yes. Support group £47.70 yes. Plus Pensioner Premium of. £143.00 which comes to a Total of £378.55 yes. So would this be Our Applicable amount(the amount the government/DWP state we should be living on! Please confirm. With regard to our local council award letters l believe their calculations are All wrong !! Can not find applicable amount/amounts for my council(Bexley) Any suggestions. Thank you once again Alice👍0

That seems like a lot of ESA. For your ESA your wife's state pension should be deducted in full, is it being deducted?0

Our esa(latest award letter)states£142.25,couple,All other premium as above”. Wife pension is£221.20weekly yes. £378.55 minus state pension gives a total Income related award of £157.35 per week. These figures are correct ✅. So what is our weekly Applicable amount. What should our hounding benefit award be? Thanks All0
