As you are a Forumite, you have editing privileges and can adjust any of your posts.  Is the offering of quite a significant reduction of £60 from £280 leaving you to pay (not that you will) £60 or £220?  How can you miss a deadline that you haven't been given yet?  Are you sure you haven't received a notice of allocation?  However, as @Coupon-mad writes, just hang tight and you will join @Umkomaas's Disco thread.

that's the email I received. To me that isn't clear if £60 will close the case or if its just that off the balance..  I also received a notice of allocation today with a court date of 2/5/25 and I need to submit my WS by the 4th Feb.

Well on your way to a discontinuation. Just make sure you continue to follow the process right through to your own N279. Everything points that way 👍
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

The words 'in full and final settlement' should make it clear.    ;)

They'll discontinue this month. Sit tight.

Looks good. I'd remove para 30 which I think I'll remove from the template soon anyway. There is no impending ban & no DLUHC any more!

Just checking  -  should the Chan and Akande cases be included?  -  they were not in the Defence and the PoC seem to state the breach.
  • Hi There,

I part own a flat, which has a carpark managed by PCM - Parking Control Management.

My lease gives me the full right to using a designated car parking space. We have a badge (slip of paper) to show as a permit. However, the permit seems to have curled, and although showing, it was unreadable (you could only see the badge was present). However, you could clearly see it was a permit nonetheless.

PCM has fined me for it being unreadable/invalid.

I've appealed it on the grounds it was present, but just curled. I've sent in new pictures including the car (with numberplate) with it uncurled.

Should they now retract the fine? Would legally I have a basis to appeal this?

Many thanks indeed for your help,

    Alex
