I just sent off an email to Peugeot regarding finance agreements for several cars dating back to 2009. No sooner had I pressed send but a got what can only have been an automate response within the same minute from them saying I did not qualify to claim . It said having investigated my claim but there is absolutely no way that could be the case considering the number of vehicles and the response time . Lost as to what I should do next ?

Well perhaps they never were involved in DCA and so are able to automate the replies as they are always the same?3

I do get that may be the case but just thought considering the amount of claims they must be receiving it is still highly unlikely they would have time to investigate this in less than a minute and respond .0

The majority of car loans did not have DCA. So, if they know they don't have DCA, then it's easy for them to set up an automated system to reject any incoming claims. No investigation is necessary.

I've just had the same thing happen to me! I sent off an email about 2 cars purchased in 2016 and 2019, the email was sent at 21.57. I received an email response immediately also timed 21.57 saying they would be in contact. At 22.00 I received two separate emails both saying they had checked their records and they did not pay a discretionary commission to the dealer. I'm just a bit dubious that a check could have been made for two separate accounts and two emails sent back in 3 minutes, and that information is correct. My finance agreement details aren't even referred to in the emails?0

It's like asking a greengrocer if they sold meat to you 10 years ago. They know they only ever sold fruit and veg so they don't need to check their records of sales, they can immediately say no.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

1 - Email into DCA complaints address
2 - Firm knows it never used DCA so computer can auto-reject saying no DCA.
