What are we all doing about the Mon BS fiasco?

Thought a separate thread might be better - it's already in two places.
It's getting beyond a joke. They have consistently been leggity last in crediting payments to their accounts but this is exceptional.
My 12th and final Exclusive payment was by FP on August 1st; by the end of yesterday it was showing
but with a credited date of August 2nd. 6p interest for the day - hardly worth the complaint?
The RS2 is a different matter. My 13th payment was also by FP on August 1st. It has neither been credited at MonBS nor returned to my issuing account (Santander).
So I'm kicking off with a secure message including an emphasis on the fact that the T&Cs don't, by implication or otherwise, bar a 13th payment. The loss of interest is more material here, the potential interest at 7.00% and at the issuing source. The outcome of all this is going to be complex.
I'll report their response.

Faster payments will be handled and processed manually. Building Societies have always been the same. They are not clearing banks.1

I made my deposits on the 2nd, usually do it on the 1st but for other reasons I couldn't do it on the 1st this month. I cannot see my payments being applied to my balances yet, but also haven't been told they're being rejected.
If they do say I've exceeded the max balance, then yes I will also be complaining since they should detail this sort of information in their T & Cs if they have that sort of limitation.1 -
All this over <£2?6

There is a difference between not showing the transaction and returning the payment.schiff said:So I'm kicking off with a secure message including an emphasis on the fact that the T&Cs don't, by implication or otherwise, bar a 13th payment.
MonBS have always been slow are updating their transaction list but it has always been correct.
I would wait before they actually return any 13th payment before raising the issue with them.0 -

Choosing to pursue minor irritations is one thing, but describing it as a 'fiasco' in a thread title seems unnecessarily clickbaity!kaMelo said:gravel_2 said:All this over <£2?Well it is a point of principle, the terms do not mention a maximum balance so a thirteenth payment should be accepted.Im as much a rate chaser as anyone but I also like an easy life, so whether I would spend time chasing up what equates to 6.5 pence each day the money is somewhere other than Mon BS or a feeder account is another matter.21 -
They have replied to my secure message and indicated that the 13th payments will be returned to me later today, as I have already made 12 payments of £300 into the accounts.
The T&C for these accounts do not specify a maximum balance or maximum number of deposits. They state "The maximum overall amount that can be paid into the account is £300 each calendar month". As far as I am aware August is a calendar month!0 -
On second thoughts, this could be the next PPI.3

A little frustrating that a similar BS (Principality), with a similar RS and a similar overpayment pinged the money back the next day (the second of August).
I guess the weekend got in the way for MBS.0
