Should a broken water meter be replaced free of charge?

Castle Water (the Retailer) will be recovering the charges the wholesale water company is charging them. I don’t know who the wholesale company is for your area but it is likely to be the water company that supplies domestic customers. The water company will have a wholesale charges scheme. This is Anglian Water’s scheme but it won’t be the right one for you. https://wholesale.anglianwater.co.uk/siteassets/charges-2024-25/wholesale-charges-schedule-2024-25.pdf#page32 it says
I guess your local water company will have something similar.0
