Refund on a car and cancel Finance

Recently purchased car through Hounslow cars .had it 34 days and had lots of issues. (Mechanical) I want to return it back and cancel my finance.
The Finance company are ok with this but cant do anything until the Dealer gets back in touch AGAIN Because they've told the finance company that the vehicle is in their garage being repaired but its sitting on my driveway sent proof to Finance company(Photo) . I've had no return calls or reply's to emails sent to Hounslow cars.
The payment is due soon, should I cancel my Direct Debit
Is there a cooling off period ?
should I/could I cancel my Direct Debit?
what are my rights ?
Sorry for all the Questions
Many thanks.

Don't cancel the DD. That will lead to finance co chasing you & a missed payment marker on your credit history.
Cancelling finance does not cancel the purchase. They are 2 separate things.
Have you physically been to the dealers?
You can ask finance co about S75 claim on the purchase, given dealers lack of response.Life in the slow lane1 -
Is there a cooling off period ?
The cooling off period has long passed - 14 days.

OP as above after 30 days from delivery the trader can (indeed should) opt to repair or replace (unless impossible or the one of your choosing is disproportionate to the other) but needs to so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, which is subjective but a car can be hard to be without, if they said they needed time to perform a complex repair that could be acceptable but if time is ticking because they wont respond to you then you are better off exercising the final right to reject and using the finance company's official complaints procedure to notify them of your intention to hold them liable under S75 (if the car was over £30k then it's 75A which is slightly different). In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
