I have found customer service frustrating, especially India speaking from scripts and being no help what so ever. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Happens all the time! However Egg are great, never a problem. Cap 1 on the other hand:rolleyes:0 -
PS: I am not too happy with &More card customer service and it seems quite difficult to close an account. Sent them a letter and no reply
After my purse was stolen I closed all but 1 of my creditcards, M&S&more
was the only 1 I had problems with!
-I phoned to close the account : another card was sent.
-I destroyed that and phoned to stress the account was closed : statements (£0 due) kept arriving.
- I phoned, explained AGAIN & asked for written confirmation of closure: bills stopped, but no letter.
SUCCESS?
I tried to open another account about 18 months later - I was told I still had a valid account!
Wrote to C/S: no response.
I gave up and now refuse (in great detail) each time a SA asks me to open an account.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

Don't waste your time looking mate, they did not even answer me.
Going to threaten them with FSA when I get round to writing another letter:mad:"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

If you travel abroad a lot, M&S have about the most competitive forex on the high street & you can use the &More card which will be treated as a purchase, not as a cash withdrawal. Thus you get upto 56 days interest free (6 months free if a new card)Ethical moneysaver0

I've also had troubles with their customer service. Also the additional cardholder (if you have one) has no admin rights on the account so can't ring up to query payments, ask basic questions etc which can be very annoying. I've sent several online messages with no reply.0
