DD is going away soon.
She has a reasonably new I Phone
Contract is on Three (business) but doesn't have roaming included.
In my (Moto) phone, I put a Lebara sim in the second slot to get roaming data.
Is there a way that she can do this?

  • iPhones don’t have 2 sim slots but they do support esims (at least models from last few years) so yes, but most advertised esims support short term travel use.  You can turn some monthly operators into esims by request

Cheers - will this work with Lebara?

In the UK, Lebara don't support eSIM. However I have an iPhone with a physical Lebara SIM and an O2 eSIM.

Any ideas which provider does support this - low cost and short term ... just like Lebara! ;)

RWG mobile. Select Shop on their website (not plans) to bring up the esim option.

Their esim uses the Three network but be aware that the annual rates don't include EU roaming.
  • There's Giffgaff, free EU roaming, not the cheapest.

Try the firsty app and esim, low cost roaming data available.

Does she actually need to have both SIMs in at once? All calls can be diverted and WhatsApp works with any SIM as will social media apps. Only thing you won't get are SMS messages but it might be the simplest solution to just use Lebara for that time away and put original SIM back once home.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

spusu do eSIM with EU roaming.
Just make sure you don't use your primary phone number with them as I've heard there was problem with porting.

BTW, is she going to countries in EU?
