That seems reassuring - I can be fairly confident that my service should continue satisfactorily then0

We had the "c-panel migration" a few months back and it went smooth enough, though our e-mail configuration needed to be updated in Outlook. The support on that was efficient enough TBH.
Now we received the e-mail (yesterday I think) about the move to 123 Reg.

deskhelp said:Huge problem with TSohost since they sold to godaddy.. I have already migrated most of our customer to Webhostuk.co.uk fast hosting service at a great price. They did help me with migration every time I need help. One thing I like about them is customer support you can try them if you wish.0

Yes, I've had awful problems with TSO Host. They used to be very good, and I'd used them for years. I guess once the original principals trousered their buy-out monies that was the end...Tickets don't get anwered, etc., etc.
Bizarrely, Chat opened this morningSo I took my chance and after about 45 mins I finally got help from someone called 'Alberto'. He said "It looks like the nameservers are not propagating." How can that go wrong on its own?? This also restored my emails which had been dead for two days.
It's the eratic nature of things that I just can't do with. I've made contact with 'cloudabove' per a recommendation from an earlier post here. I live in Cornwall, where they are based, and I'd rather support a local business. Who knows? If they are too successful then GoDaddy will provably take them out for an unearthly sum...one day2 -
Following on from this thread, I have today received an e-mail (it might be the second message) advising that there will be change of "registrar of record" for my domains to Mesh Digital Limited.
I don't really know what that actually means.
I can do nothing and change or object and make my own change to someone else.
Is there any reason not to just let the "do nothing" option conclude?1 -

TSO Host sent me an email saying they were unable to migrate my site (wordpress) to 123-reg and will be terminating the service in 2 weeks. No reason given. No guidance on how to transfer to another provider. Ridiculously short notice.
They have not responded to support tickets. The live chat is switched off. No TSO number to call.
I called 123-reg, who claimed TSO Host were a different company and they wouldn't provide support, then hung up.
To transfer the domain, you need a domain IPS tag. Their documentation says you get this from a support ticket. Not much help when they are not responding.
I will not be going near TSO, 123-reg or any associated company ever again.0 -
As a follow up, TSO terminated my cpanel host today without responding to support tickets. I can't even access the data now.0

BTW - I migrated from TSOHost (at very short notice) to FastHostingDirect.com who are very good value, and provided good support for the migration.1
