Options
Can you transfer an easy access variable Cash Isa to an existing 1yr fixed Cash Isa which is a different provider?

The ISA rules don't prevent that, but not all providers accept inward transfers and fixed term products can usually only be funded within a short initial window - who is the fixed term product with and when did you open it?

Depends on the terms and conditions of the fixed ISA and when you opened it. Typically fixed ISAs have a limited funding window after which the account cannot be added to. A few providers do allow subsequent deposits into their fixed products (I believe Lloyd's is one such example).

Thanks for your replies. I have checked with the fixed ISA account (Charter Savings Bank) and they don't except any further transfers in. So that answers my question.

Nothing stopping you opening another one and transferring it in
