Yes. Lots of people. If DCA didnt exist on your loan then its an easy rejection for them.Corrine3 said:Sent Toyota everything they wanted but no one them nor I have copy of finance agreement. Sent proof of payments from bank statements. They’ve turned my claim down. Anyone else had this issue?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you don't have any record of the agreement, you would need to wait until the review finishes as one of the reasons for the delay is the FCA deciding how to deal with cases like yours where there are no records left. Did they actually reject it or say they can't proceed as they don't have any details?Corrine3 said:Sent Toyota everything they wanted but no one them nor I have copy of finance agreement. People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I have read the comment differently to Nasgueron. So, maybe some clarification is needed.
I read it as they initially couldn't find anything, but you sent them the details, and they have rejected the complaint. "Turning down" being a rejection is how I read it, as it's not a phrase you would use for a "cannot find details" letter.
So, please clarify if you really meant they had rejected your complaint or that they still could not find details.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I have sent in 2 claims to Toyota finance in May and July. I gave agreement numbers/registration numbers and dealership used. Nothing has been acknowledged
If you have had a response could you give me email address you used for your claim
Thanks0 -
Give them a chance. The whole thing is suspended until late 2025. So, there is no hurry.LazyBitch61 said:I have sent in 2 claims to Toyota finance in May and July. I gave agreement numbers/registration numbers and dealership used. Nothing has been acknowledged

There is already an update to the sticky at the top, it will go on until at least late 2025 especially if the 2 court cases are appealed successfullyLazyBitch61 said:Thanks. The FCA are currently giving companies until the end of 2025 to resolve complaints however there is litigation now involved and so it's likely that date will go back further.LazyBitch61 said:Thanks.
