GroupNexus NTK, but compliant??

Hello everyone, I received an NTK through from GroupNexus for overstaying the permitted time (3hrs in this case). Reason is traffic level but I'd guess that wouldn't be taken into account. It took us nearly 40 minutes from getting in the car to exiting the car park, there was light traffic and plenty of spaces on arrival. Having read it, it seems to have the PoFA reference which i haven't seen on any examples in other threads? And this also arrived on Monday, so it had taken 7 days to be delivered! I use this particular carpark many times a week and am fully aware of the time constraints

Would the usual responses be applicable in this case, or would there be anything different with the PoFA refencing?

Many thanks,
"Dave"

The pics on the NTK look like the back of 2 different cars, both leaving...?

Yeah you may win on that "evidence" being  flawed.
  • I'm wondering if they have IT issues as they sent me a charge letter for a stay which I had paid for and when I went into the appeal link it said it had been already cancelled.  I'm pretty angry about it as it was a hospital visit and it is not something I needed right now on top of my daily visits to the hospital.

Of course a log jamb of traffic is a cause for appeal (but they would reject that as they are scammers) but those two ANPR shots are 1- obviously not the same vehicle 2- both exit shots!
Proving once again the fact that ANPR systems used by PPC's are not fit for purpose.
I would just send the Newbies appeal, then broadside them at POPLA.
  • I'm going to write to my MP that they attempted to extort money from me claiming they had no record of payment being made when it clearly had.  They play fast and loose with dvla data.

Unfortunately not, it is definitely the front entering and the rear exiting. Registration number is clear in both pics where I've drawn over  :(

OK. What did the managing agents who run the retail park say, when you tried PLAN A?

The first pic has the front of the OP's blue Skoda car in the background.

I haven't tried Plan A yet, I haven't had a chance to go back to get the agents details (the Carpark serves multiple retailers). I was more curious over the addition of PoFA wording and whether that would make any difference to proceedings as I hadn't seen that on any other posts. I should be back in Norwich tomorrow though so I will go by their and take the details.
