I've been in touch with blackhorse  and put a complaint  in,they've come back to say they can't locate the agreement,I don't have the agreement  anymore  as I sold the car in may 2021.I have proof from bank statements  that my payments were paid to blackhorse, also I have an Expeian credit file which shows I had a car finance agreement  with blackhorse, van anyone  advise me what to do next

Wait until after the FCA publish their report in 2025.   There will be instructions in that in how to deal with archived data.

When did the agreement come to an end? Most companies will be keeping records for 6 years or so after this date. 

Can you still see the DD payments on your bank statement? Checked if the DD reference helps?
