12 is usually the cut off point between child and adult for hotels. You;ll find lots of threads acknowledging it online both in UK and abroad"My 13 year old daughter would eat less than a typical 12 year old boy" - well I travel alone but have to pay the same as couples and a supplement on top. That supplement is applied to days on a plane too. And I don't make half the mess or eat and drink as much as a couple. That's how the holiday industry is.A lot of research and I can get a better deal but it's a lot!I think try other hotels is a good solution. It would be quicker to just go straight to the hotel sites and check if there are some that are different.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Ive raised a complaint, but not sure I will get anywhere.Even if contracted to TUI ?
