Trading 212 Cash Isa paying 5.2%.

When trying to fund the account via my bank account, I get a notification from the bank saying that it can not verify the account details provided by Trading 212.
This also happens with another Bank, namely Union Bank of India (UK). 
Not sure if it is safe to go ahead and transfer funds.
Will appreciate advice.

    I believe you're referring to Confirmation of Payee, a verification service that allows payers to validate the payee name supplied when setting up bank transfers.  However, many smaller players aren't participants, so the sending bank can't validate the destination account and so displays a message to the payer accordingly.

    It just means that anyone looking to send money to a non-CoP institution doesn't have the safety net of that validation, in the same way that no transfers were protected until a couple of years ago, so workarounds used then remain valid, such as sending a small test amount first in order to check safe arrival....
