Hi, I’m about to move into a very small 1 bed (one up / one down) mid terrace old miners cottage out in the sticks. It’s my only choice of home and I have to move.
It isn’t on mains gas and I’ve limited options.
One option is 47kg gas for hot water use and poss one tiny radiator fitted in bathroom. It has a wood burning stove to heat kitchen / lounge (tiny, all in one small room).
Was wondering if anyone had experience with gas to provide hot water / small amount of heating, and how long a can lasts on average?
There are two of us in the property with daily shower / bath use.
Any info appreciated.
It’s currently on an old immersion boiler.

2 bed semi, 6 radiators, 2 showers a day, washing up for 2.
At the coldest mid winter, 1 x 47kg a fortnight.
Summer 1 x 47kg lasts 2 plus months.
Hope that helps.
Oh. Combi gas boiler btw.0
