I've been hella busy with work this week, so haven't had the time or opportunity to be tempted to spend, hence another 7 NSD, taking the total up to 17 NSD so far this month 😁
I did venture out to the shops for the weekly grocery shop, and again managed to get £1.50 Lidl fruit & veg box. There was LOADS in it, I could hardly lift it.
Prepped much of it for the freezer and made some delicious soups for weekday lunches.
It's been a great year for blackberries. A couple of foraging walks in the woods has resulted in about 10kg of frozen blackberries in the freezer and a rather scrumptious crumble we had yesterday- together with some of the vegan cream I found in the reduced section in Sainsbury's after Christmas for 1p.
Homemade nut loaf (made using some of the reduced to clear 10p nuts I bought after Christmas and froze!) the bargain veg and foraged blackberry crumble, we had a Sunday dinner that would rival a £40 a head (so £160 for all of us 😲) meal from a gastropub for the princely sum of...... £2.10!
That's just over 50p each 😊
