    Did they explain how you were using them incorrectly or Did you ask them to clarity how you were using them incorrectly.

    Knowing what you were doing wrong woukd allow you to correct what you were doing and prevent further problems.

    If you are forcing the spring loaded arms while removing from you head, they will break. (not pointing the finger of blame) but forcing them past the point that they spring will cause a problem.

    Having had spring arms & seen how people take them off by pulling arms outwards to get passed ears. No wonder they break, spring is there really to help with a more secure fit.
