Extra solar install, how does export work ?

The new installation sort of matches the old one but both visually look a bit odd because of the "missing" panel.  I would have been tempted to add one more panel to the new installation and a dummy panel (not connected) to the old one, just for symmetry.

Thanks for your comments, the new installation has a has boiler flue in the lower right side,
as for the original installation I that's all I could afford at the time,  but the "quirkyness"of the layout suits my" avant-garde easy outlook on life, the universe & everything.embrace the weird,I do!

If you like it, that's what matters.  But now you have all that solar power and battery storage, you will surely want to get a heat pump that would make the gas boiler flue redundant.

the heat pump is next project, an online quick quote from octopus but at £5000+ it's going to be considered when the boiler starts messing about, (also not keen on dailkin heatpumps)
