    i am waiting for another quote 3 large ones for only and 7 smaller ones for £9.2k surprised me at the cost

    Just worth keeping in mind that virtually all materials used in these products has gone up a lot in price since Covid, double in some cases. Also the cost of labour has increased a lot due to shortages of skilled tradespeople after Covid/Brexit.
    In both cases, increases have been way above the general level of inflation.

    yes i just wish i had done the windows when i had the chance 5 yrs ago when i moved in ...so regretting it now

    I'm in the south east.  I had a local company supply 10 windows (3 were very large), 2 sets of patio doors, I new front door with glass panels either side and a set of bifolds for £10,900.  My builder fitted but he works with the company all the time
    If he was working on his own, it must have taken him more than a week. So maybe cost £1500/£2000 in the SE ?
    It was all part of a full house renovation so there were quite a few of them here.  2 were working on it with others helping to lift the bigger ones.  All took 2 days to fit
