is this a good quote

    Guys just wondering if this is a decent quote from a local company i have 10 windows of varying sizes in a 3 bed semi in the south east £9.2k labour not included..

    Sounds a bit steep if fitting is on top. A similar number of windows cost me around £6K a couple of years ago (including fitting), but prices have gone up quite a bit since.
    I'd suggest getting a few more quotes that include fitting along with any lintels that may be required.

    Expensive - just paid £10k for 8 windows (one was 3m x 1.6 and the rest were larger than normal), solidor composite front door and aluminium bifolds fitted

    Very steep. Got quoted 5k for set of French doors, 7 windows of varying sizes, 2 upvc doors. Includes labour

    it was a local company around my end

    Makes sense to have the company that supply the windows to also fit them. 

    Then there's no possibility of the "wrong" windows being supplied

    If he was working on his own, it must have taken him more than a week. So maybe cost £1500/£2000 in the SE ?
