Small time players with higher rates - any good?

Hi,
I'm in need of changing my ISA to improve on my interest rate. Are smaller players like Chip and Plum any good or am I letting myself in for a world of pain?
Of the bigger players, I've had negative experience with Virgin before, so would only leave Leeds BS, but 0.5% lower than Chip.
Feedback welcome (google isn't offering up much for Plum).
Thanks,
Rob.

Plum gets very mixed reviews on here - it seems to be an odd product.
Chip I vouch for - it's flexible, easy access and a tracker rate so you'll not be much lower than the BOE rate. The downside for some is that it's app only. Also for new customers I think there's a bonus additional rate on the ISA as well.0 -
I'm a long time Chip user, (although not for ISAs) I've never had an issue0
