    Two years ago the guy who serviced our boiler noted on the inspection certificate that the tank location was non-compliant due to the fireboarding  not covering enough of the adjacent garden shed. Roll forward a year and the same guy made no comment about the fireboarding and ticked the "passed" box. He did however register a "fail" due to proximity to a drain, but only after I had pointed it out to him! Fuel delivery guys have never commented.
