ISA - how many days before maturity can I set up transfer?

I seem to remember it's 56 days, but struggling to find this info online.
For context, I have a Virgin ISA that matures on 14 Sept (50 days from now). I want to open a new Virgin ISA to transfer the money across after 14 Sept. Can I open the new ISA now, with transfer date set 50 days in the future, or not?
Many thanks

Most fixed rate cash ISAs have a funding window in which you either need to deposit new funds or submit a transfer request or else the account gets closed, so you'll need to check the T&Cs of the new ISA, as it's this that'll dictate at what stage you have to submit the transfer request. There isn't a standard time-frame for this - it'll differ from provider to provider..0
