Going to back track here, as I was under the impression from the posts that the van was far more burnt than just a bit in the engine bay.
This does just look like a mechanical fault & as such not covered.Life in the slow lane1 -
I would be taking this to the garage who did the most recent work.Also I’m no expert but I would think it is repairable1
