Cancelled FTTP order with Vodafone - they won't release my line

I ordered FTTP with Vodafone but cancelled because of very poor customer service. I've asked Vodafone to cancel 3 times but each time I try to order with BT I am told there is still an active order on my line so my order with them gets cancelled.

Is there anything else I can do? As I say I've asked Vodafone 3 times now.
