I'm with O2, was paying £14.99 a month, saw a deal for £7.99 (that uses their network!), called O2 they gave me a new SIM contract for £7.991

I was at the end of my contract with O2 and managed to get a good deal of £6 a month sim only which over time has risen to £7.64 per month. That includes unlimited minutes and messages and 4GB of data (I am a virginmedia customer so get double data).0

I suggest trying Giffgaff or tesco mobile for a month before signing up.
O2 is not as good as other network in my area.0 -

Enough data even for my teens and is free to use abroad (and the kids rinse priority for deals and ticket pre-sales):eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20170 -
I joined O2 just over the year ago from the MSE link for £5 for 10GB data and the usual UL mins & texts. I got hit by the mid contract price rise which added a whopping 44p to the monthly bill. I was however very surprised and happy to discover that at the end of the 12 months it carries on as a rolling monthly contract at the same £5.44 a month (until the next rise). I've joined Virgin Broadband since (again from a link here) for 128MB for the equivalent of just £21 a month. With Volt I've doubled the data & download speed both so I'm very happy with them both.
There was someone on here who was with O2 and out of contract and took a similar deal from MSE, they saved a lot of money per month and kept exactly the same service from O2.0 -
That I saw Tesco is expensive, like their advert says it is of benefit more to people that travel abroad
