I must admit I'm finding their app hard to navigate generally but I'm struggling to withdraw the interest from the Cash ISA.

When I make a withdrawal it comes off the original capital and is leaving the interest there as uninvested funds.

Am I missing something?

I have no idea what you mean. My Cash ISA does not distinguish between original capital and interest? It's just one pile of cash.

It sounds from the comments you have made like you have invested in a S&S ISA.

Even then, only invested funds would refuse to withdraw. Surely OP isn't invested in something without knowing it...

I was wondering if they had confused selling investments with withdrawing cash. There is certainly some confusion somewhere along the lines.

So I invested the maximum amount £20k. I've withdrawn the interest so far £100.Its now showing my total as £20k but the breakdown shows I have £19,900 in the Cash ISA.

You've made a flexible withdrawal of £100, so your net total ISA subscription for the year is £19,900 and you can make replacement subscriptions of up to £100. What don't you like about that?

The total is still showing as £20k. I've taken £100 out (the interest it had earned). If I put £100 back in my total will be £20,100 so I'll be back to square one.

I know my total balance is 20k but it's only showing £19900 in the ISA, my simple mind says that the £100 I've withdrawn is the initial investment not the interest.

That part relates to you annual ISA allowance. As T212 ISA is flexible you can withdraw money, and re-add it, to the ISA during the tax year without impacting your ISA allowance. There's is nothing wrong here. You deposited 20k, earned interest for a bit, then withdrew some money.
