Indeed, I can't check the metadata as everything was bundled into one pdf file.....Proof of posting is one thing, but it doesn't prove it was delivered as no signature was requested - no doubt too much of an expense, yet they are more than happy to try and scam people with this ridiclous parking circus they have going on at stanstead.

Nobody signing for a delivery is only proof of non-delivery. 

There is no need for "proof of delivery". The relevant principle in UK law is found in the Interpretation Act 1978, specifically under Section 7, which deals with service by post. This section provides that, unless the contrary is proven, the service of a document by post is deemed to have been effected at the time at which the letter would be delivered in the ordinary course of post.

So, you only need "proof of posting".

Not that it matters.  MET have now reset it to appeal stage so you know how to do that!  Easy one because it's non-PoFA.

Just an update - I complained to MET, obviously rejected. Opend a case with POPLA and more or less copy and pasted from this thread
