Best GSM Dialler Sim?

Now our BT telephone line has gone digital, I have to install a GSM dialler.

Mobile signal at our house from EE is poor and slightly better from O2, so I can see that the best option is a multi operator Sim that searches out the best signal.

Can anyone recommend a supplier, as from a quick search there are loads on the market

Thanks

Maybe you could explain what a GSB dialler is and what you are seeking to achieve with it? Is it something to do with a burglar alarm?

Yes, i should have explained that.  It's for a burglar alarm that needs an independent telephone line, hence the need for a GSM dialler

Most of the SIMs from the larger providers have a clause that you cannot use them to make automated calls. (That's not to say it won't work just that it's against the terms and conditions)

Can the dialler do 4G? I ask this because although 2G isn't being switched off for some time, some providers like O2 have announced plans to migrate customers away (starting next year) leaving IOT devices and smart meters on a reduced 2G bandwidth.

I'm sure you can get a device that sends an alert over the Internet via WiFi which would probably be a better solution.

Interesting.  Thank you.  I'll discuss it with the alarm company.

Yes you can get wifi solutions, but in the case of a power cut, the alert system is rendered useless

That’s true but it’s also the case that the mobile networks are not guaranteed fault free and a power cut might take out the base station.

I would ask the alarm company if the alarm will work with a digital voice adaptor. Your router can also have battery backup.
