Another idea for a punk is to get some spray on dye for hair - you can get it in lurid colours and it washes out. One of my chums went to a party as Sid Snot - ripped jeans, spiked hair dyed pink, slashed t-shirt held together with pins, bovver boots, a studded dog collar round his neck complete with lead (his then gf used it to lead him about), dodgy makeup and he generally looked bad but no worse than the rest of us with our torn tights, dodgy makeup and wierd jewellery. In my case a leather wrist band with rubber spikes on it that become luminous in the dark (an old mate made them) together with my corset belt.

    All done on the cheap.
  • had a costume made once, a giant fairy liquid bottle.
and a mate of mine has been a giant prit stik!

Belisha Beacon (if there's two of you a zebra crossing is good too) - binliners for the base and white crepe paper for the stripes, and an orange swim hat.

Bookworm was always my fave: in a sleeping bag with a pile of books by my side.
Signature removed for peace of mind
