No point sending an 180 form now unless the claimaint is proceeding
Only those that issue their own claims directly and not via a solicitor proceed immediately automatically (ie vcs) so sending an n180 immediately is fine
However you will simply have to resubmit this at some point.2 -
Raised a complaint about the inconsistencies regarding communications and how they are likely to cause confusion and anxiety.
Yesterday received an old fashioned letter via post confirm they had processed my defence and it was now up to the claimant to proceed within 28 days. Looks like things are on track.

If this is the case the post outlining the process and template should make this more apparent. I followed the steps documented there to the letter, including pre-emptively sending the N180. Oh well, I have a copy.Grizebeck said:No point sending an 180 form now unless the claimaint is proceeding

Does it say to pre-emptively send a N180 that early, in the 12 steps? I haven't checked but thought it just says 'expect this stage to take up to 2 months but you can download the form'. That doesn't mean download it early.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
