Car Finance Claim Question

I have just emailed a claim to Black Horse for a finance agreement for a car that I had.
The company I bought it through has advised me that the contract was in my ex-husband's name but I made the payments from my bank account every month.
Will they issue a refund to me or will they insist on refunding my ex husband? It would be really unfair if they do this as I made all of the monthly payments.
Any advise I can get would be appreciated.

Contractually they'll deal with your ex.1

He is the one that was in contract and therefore the one that has to deal with it and benefit from any miss-selling compensation. Obvious a massive caveat on the fact you could spend a large amount of time on the matter and find no one is due anything on your agreement.1
