Yes but I have insurance to pay, dragging this out longer just means I pay in other ways with a terrible credit rating. Regardless, back to my original question; how do I now go about having the CCJ removed from my credit file?
Credit report companies usually check on trustonline.org which is a public registrar service. However they all check it at different intervals.  Some check it once a week, others 14 days and some once a month. So it will depend on how quickly the court will update the registrar and then when the particular credit agency does their sweep of the registrar.

Other alternative would be to call the credit companies help line to advise of the judgement and see if they can update their records quicker.
