TUI travel delay compensation voucher - can be partly spent ?

If I had a TUI £200 goodwill voucher for long delay (£200), could I use it towards a £150 flight booking and get £50 back ?

It is just a code, not sure what terms and conditions apply to it. With Tesco giftcard (also a code) you can use it multiple times until the balance is depleted, does the same principle apply here or you lose the remaining amount, like with Tesco clubcard reward vouchers?

There must be terms associated with it somewhere, was there a link in an email when issued for example?  Was it from the airline or the holiday company?

TUI, they call it 'holiday voucher' there but nothing about partial/full use in the terms

If it's labelled as a holiday voucher, is it even valid for flight-only bookings?  Seems inevitable that you're going to need to ask them directly for the definitive answer....
