Electric Toothbrush for Dog

Hi,
First time poster.
Our dog’s vet has recommended using an electric toothbrush at home to help control the build up of tartar and plaque on his teeth.
I’ve searched online and have been put off by the negative comments for the ones that I have found.
Does anybody have any experience of this and a model that you would recommend.
Harry is a 9kg Malshi 😃

No specific model advice, but our pup's groomer has a sonic toothbrush, each client has their own head, and her teefs are sparkling white. Groomer says pup doesn't mind a bit. She had two longer appointments close together initially, now she gets them cleaned about every two weeks. So well worth persevering with research.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. We have had two dogs. The first one (rescue dog whom we had to send over the rainbow bridge in 2022 when he was 18😢) was terrified of everything so it was a feat to brush his teeth with a normal brush. Our dog now is a mini JRT and has to be enticed to have them cleaned, which I do (whilst he is held by hubby) but putting toothpaste on my finger on to his teeth and gums. He just about accepts this but if I came at him with a brush, or God forbid, something that buzzed and vibrated he would be off like a shot! I’m sure a lot of dogs wouldn’t thank you for an electric brush. Nothing wrong with just rubbing the paste on to teeth and gums which is all manufacturers say is necessary! Good luck (think you’ll need it!!!)1
