Hi can anyone explain why the offer date and contract date for SKY - both my computer and mobile show offer date August 24 - contract date is not until February 2025

Is this for all?

    Welcome to the forum.

SKY will be able to explain your concern. It might be a mistake.

Sky Community is a good place to ask questions https://helpforum.sky.com/

I wonder if this might be about the brand new Sky Sports+ channel, coming this summer, August 2024.
OP, do you have a link?
  • Talked to the advisor who could not explain and advised that she would raise the matter with her supervisor.

Very important if you thought that offer = contract and contract ends 6 months after the "offer" date

No explanation as to how it got out of synch !!

Not familiar with Sky's process, but for other providers, I have seen a minimum term until the <contract date>, with a discount / offer on (part of) the service fees for a shorter period.

Eg say whole broadband / tv / phone package is £50 for 18 months, plus sports package at £20, discounted to £10 for the first 12 months. So you pay £60 until Aug 24 and then £70 until Feb 25 and then can move away (or if not then you go back to their standard pricing)
