This is the result of a recent delivery of patio slabs! Driver admitted he did it. CCTV to prove it. Numerous photos and a video of the damage all the way up the road back to his lorry.

After being passed from the patio company to their delivery courier, then to the sub contractor that delivered it, I received a call after a month. They said they would investigate the agency driver   and get back to me. Since then (3 weeks on), despite numerous emails they’re ignoring me.

What shall I do now? The whole drive will need re-laying.  It just won’t come off.

EDIT: s
orry should have been more clear…the initial claims person from the company suggested a new drive would be the way forward as from their experience it wouldn’t ever match again. I’ve not asked for that!

You have a duty to minimise the cost of repair.

Just to confirm, you've had three independent driveway cleaning companies say they can't shift those limestone marks with brickclean (hydrochloric acid) and an industrial pressure washer?

As above, it looks like a jet wash and acid clean would work here.

It will fade over time.  Next time you get a delivery like that they will drop it at the kerb and you will need to hand ball!

Expecting a new driveway is way over the top.

All the OP's conversations should be with the company who he purchased the slabs from.  It is them he has a contract with.  Who actually delivered them is not relevant.

Not really a suprise if that's what you're expecting!

Have you tried pressure washing it off yourself?
    Know what you don't

I agree.  Going in on the basis that the whole drive needs relaying has probably meant they're not taking you seriously.

As advised above, you need to get a proper assessment of what's needed, get some quotes and go back to the retailer to ask them to fund the remedial work.

To an outside observer, it does look like the OP is trying to get a new drive.

As things have gotten off on the wrong foot, I would get quotes for CLEANING if the drive from a drive cleaning company. Then submit them to the supplier requesting the middle quote be paid.
