We thought this looked a good one to invest in.  Completed the application online with our bank details.  Their website link to our bank would not accept our initial payment.  Phoned our bank and who said other customers could not use the website either.  Suggested we set up a BACS payment for £10 for starters.  Several days later our money still had not shown on the new account.  Problem is that there is no telephone number for Trading 212 on their website, only an AI bot that proved useless.  We finally found a phone number on Google, but that only gave an email address to use.  Several days later we got a response from Trading 212, who said that our £10 still has not been received yet, even though we used all of the correct bank details and reference.  We have now asked our bank to claim our £10 back and we have told Trading 212 we are closing the account.  It looked a good one to invest in, but proved too good to be true!

I am another one who had no problems. I used Open Banking to pull money in from Santander.

This is the reason why we do test payments

Chances are there will be some minor mismatch that has prevented the money being allocated automatically.
