Hi, Charleypink. I hear what you say, but was the cot put up correctly? a wooden cot does not just break! It is screwed together with the moving side being held with thoose plastic clips. If it realy has smashed and the wood broke or plastic clips. I would march it back to the shop you bought it from with the bill of sale! A full refund is due.
    Good Luck...
hi julie_d, yes the cot was put together properly, and i had checked that the screws were tight just days before the incedent. what has happened is the wooden slats have all lifted out of the top and bottom bars, the wood hasn't broken. It seems that the glue used to hold the slats in place is not strong enough. It doesn't have the plastic clips to hold the dropside up. we tried to put the side back together but it wouldn't hold together.
  • could it be temporarily repaired or are some of the brackets actually broken? if it could be temoprarily repaired then I would suggest purchasing a hot glue gun (less than £10). I know you should not have to.
