You now state that your client is ‘regulated' by the IPC. The IPC clearly states on its website, under the heading “What We Do”, “We are a Trade Association, not a regulatory body” Your statement is, therefore, yet another which is false and calculated to mislead.
If/when it gets to the hearing you will then truthfully be able to say, the claimant/claimant's legal team made X number of false statements, and leave the court to decide if this was a deliberate in each case to mislead or a repeated demonstration of incompetence.

Thanks @Fruitcake. I am keeping tally! I will also be reverting, at a later stage, to BAL, DVLA and my MP with a summary of VCS' and DCBLegal's outrageous behaviour.6

Well, after over six months of silence, waiting for a reply from DCBLegal to my third request for information under PAP, I have received a Letter of Claim from another mob, ELMS Legal (attached), so VCS appear to be trying to go back to the beginning of the process. Has anyone else had a similar experience and how have they responded. My inclination is to reply to ELMS Legal to tell them that, contrary to their assertion I have responded in full to a Letter of Claim from VCS' Solicitors and that they can get all the relevant correspondence from either or both of these. Furthermore, there is no debt since the charge notice is still the subject of a dispute between me and a third party. Before I respond, I would very much welcome comments from any members of the forum who have been so helpful in the past.

Interestingly enough, ELMS Legal don't provide an email address for response. Can anyone provide me with a suitable address, please?0

So, since there was a no advice about my last post, I emailed ElmsLegal along the lines of my post of 2 July. I received a reply that stated they do not "hold any information regarding DCBL" (not DCBLegal, to whom I referred!), so it looks as though they want to go through the whole process again from the start. I don't. Does anyone think that, to comply with the spirit of the PAP Protocol, I should provide them with copies of all my correspondence with DCBLegal which sets out the substance of my rejection of the claim? I am tempted to stick to my original advice to ElmsLegal that they can get this correspondence from their client, VCS, but I don't want to be accused of non-compliance with the wording or spirit of the PAP. Before I reply, I'd welcome views.....(I can post copies of my recent correspondence with ElmsLegal, if helpful to anyone in a similar situation).0

Yes I agree. The point is, their client should have all pertinent correspondence. Then please come back in a week or so, to do the public Consultation being discussed on a thread. We need everyone.
