Are there any UK focused forums for parents with more then 2 posts per day ?
mumsnet/netmums is all very well but for obvious reasons I wouldn't want to join. Is there nowhere gender neutral I can ask some questions about schools etc ?
Even here, why is it split into mums and dads?

I don't really know why it's split into mums and dads, I guess there are still some gendered questions.
However, the parent board to this has schools questions fairly regularly, and usually has more than 2 posts per day. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/marriage-relationships-familiesSignature removed for peace of mind2 -
I'd agree with @Savvy_Sue. The mums and dads boards are rarely used. The families one is for everyone.1

Perhaps search Facebook for father's pages and groups. Even better you might get some local that can help with specific questions about local policy and schools etc.

I did raise with MSE a while ago that it shouldn't have mum's boards and dad's boards, in the interests of gender equality. I guess there's the subject of safe spaces, but both boards are open to everyone.Statement of Affairs (SOA) link: https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/financecalculators/soa.phpFor free, non-judgemental debt advice, try: Stepchange or National Debtline. Beware fee charging companies with similar names.6

Why not give yourself a gender neutral user name if you do not wish to stand out? I know some of your questions might ask for fellow father advice but again you could reframe the question to elicit broader responses.2

I think it has nothing to do with "gender equality" issues. That's my fault for using the phrase "gender neutral" when I just meant male or female.
Its just that many questions (most?) will be in common between mothers and fathers and I wondered why the boards were split.
I'll ask the question in the board above as was suggested.
Edit: My username isn't gender neutral because I created it 100 years ago and didn't think too much about it.1 -
Hi all,
Thanks for the feedback. Merging the boards / creating a single board is something that's been on our radar for a while. We're currently exploring the best way forward to make sure this part of the Forum is inclusive, straightforward to use and easy for people to find.
All the best,
