See it as karma indicating you shouldn't eat fries and be grateful it wasn't a hair you found...

    £3.50 sounds fair.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

You haven't said much about 'the piece of plastic'.

    Does it look like this?

Many fast food takeaways irresponsibly add items like this to packs of chips.

You are right to complain, we should be moving away from such items in favour of biodegradable items such as ones made from wood or bamboo.
Next complaint,  my fries were very tough to eat

i also got shreds of blue wood in frozen burgers from Tesco, asked for it to be investigated, after a few weeks, Tesco said the blue shreds were from the pallet the burgers were on

luckily I didn't swallow any of them, as I noticed it when I was cooking them.
think I got a Tesco voucher for my troubles

    Why?

The burgers were probably higher in saturated fat and lower in fibre than the pallet they were stacked on.

    Report it to Environmental  Health.

They won’t give you any money but can investigate and gone the company if they have not followed regulations.
