Many fast food takeaways irresponsibly add items like this to packs of chips.
You are right to complain, we should be moving away from such items in favour of biodegradable items such as ones made from wood or bamboo.6 -

i also got shreds of blue wood in frozen burgers from Tesco, asked for it to be investigated, after a few weeks, Tesco said the blue shreds were from the pallet the burgers were on
luckily I didn't swallow any of them, as I noticed it when I was cooking them.
think I got a Tesco voucher for my troublesChristians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )

The burgers were probably higher in saturated fat and lower in fibre than the pallet they were stacked on.3 -
