Hyndai bought on Finance 2009

Hi all.

I bought a Hyundai on Finance end of 2009.
I have the original agreement stating Hyundai Car Finance. Payments were made between 2009 and 2014/15.

I have emailed Hyundai several times and have included the paperwork, reg number and ask my info. 
They keep sending me away stating they have no record of my finance. 

Where do I go from here?
Should they not be the ones telling me where to go to with my query by providing info on the Finance Comany?

I want a simple yes or no as to aether there was a DCA linked to my purchase. 😒

Having conducted a search of our records, unfortunately we have been unable to locate a finance agreement for you based on the information and agreement number you have supplied.

Hyundai Finance was formed in 2012 as a finance provider for Hyundai Motor UK. If you held an agreement which pre-dates this, it may have been financed by another provider who you will need to contact to request any further information.

Hyundai Finance is a trading name of Hyundai Capital UK Limited, our agreement numbers are typically 14 digits long and start with either, 450, 650 or 100.

Looking at your agreement documents your agreement starts with 5266 and is dated November 2009. Neither the agreement prefix or the date of ownership belong to Hyundai Finance.

Perhaps contact Hyundai Car Finance:
HYUNDAI CAR FINANCE LIMITED overview - Find and update company information - GOV.UK (company-information.service.gov.uk)
rather than Hyundai Finance?

In effect what you are asking is no different to you asking Microsoft to tell you about your Google account, two legally separate companies, not linked.

You need to ask the legal company you had the contract with, not a different company. The reality is that even if you contact the correct company, based on the dates involved they will likely say that they either no longer hold those records, or to wait until after the report is published later this year. They are unlikely to confirm now that it was used to your detriment and there is pretty much zero possibility that you will get any "compensation" at this stage.

You are contacting the wrong company. Hyundai Finance is not Hyundai Car Finance. They are two completely different companies. 

If you click on the link I provided earlier one of the first things you will see is the registered address for Hyundai Car Finance. You need to contact them, not Hyundai Finance.
